Cringe, I wound up with a bit of free time, not wanting to really do anything but veg' out I found myself sketching for the first time in years... On 'paper' *gasp*
If I ever manage to finish this I'll be posting the results. My art styles is kinda weird, but it is, what it is.

Subaru Legacy 2.5i SE- 2007 Air Cleaner and Element Air Duct

Finished up some schematics that I digitally restored based off of the Subaru parts site for my friends Subaru Legacy. He was quiet impressed at the quality the .pdf version displays on his tablet.
This was a pretty relaxing and stress free project, though it got a bit repetitive, but fun.

Schematic Diagrams

Was flipping through my service manual today looking for torque specs, being told to "see Table 3" but no listing of what page it was on. Flipping through more pages I finally discovered the Table 3, now back to the original page... "What a hassle!" I thought... then a nerd light bulb went off in my head today. "Let's make a page with a diagram that has all the information on that one single user friendly page!"
I went a bit over board. But stuff like this will totally save me loads of time when servicing Rose. I found an old schematic off the internet and I wound up restoring in in vector so I can get a nice print using Illustrator.
Looks like this might actually be my current project! I hope to make a few pages of similar parts I plan to service periodically.

My friend liked this idea quiet a bit. I might wind up doing some diagrams for his Subaru as long as it continues to be fun for me.

Video Fun Day

Tinkering around with post image stabilization today with some of my videos. Pretty interesting stuff.  Sadly it does create a bit of a crop in the process, but it did a great job at eliminating my original shaky pan. I'll be playing around with this some more when I get some time.

Project Ideas

Been so busy lately once again, haven't had much time to work on anything. I've been collecting a few ideas though.
-Starting that Jacket I never finished for Hrist.
-Marianda's Coat and Shirt.
-A New Photo Story. (I really need to do another chapter...)
-Some random armor or weapon.

I'm leaning toward the jacket at the moment however. I hate unfinished things. :P
Hoping February will be more productive.

A Day at the Lake

A nice storm, and finally a day off for me. What could be better? A ride to Saguaro Lake! Pretty cold rainy day too, but it was all worth it. Once I finally arrived at the lake, the storm looked to be heading north more.

I suddenly found myself wishing I had a boat to further explore deeper into the lake. I wound up doing a nice hike through some of the mountains. Sadly I didn't go to far, but it was enough to have had a great time and take in all the sights.

This years off to a great start already with the weather! :D

Hrist Poster IX

At long last, it's complete! Hrist was most pleased with her portrait taken in Asgard. Took a little longer then normal, or at least what I had planned. Couldn't quiet be helped working multiple 'retail' jobs around the holidays though.  It is, what it is though. Just in time for Christmas too. Hopefully I can get a print made before the end of the year.

The big question for me now, is what to do next. No clue at the moment. I might do another scene, as I was pondering the idea of doing something Water Mirror related, or something with both Hrist and Lidia. No plans to work on any sewing projects either. I still need to finish Hrist's last outfit's coat, and Mari's main body piece. All require some form of 3D Printing or sculpting though. I'll figure out what I'll do next once things die down in the new year most likely. The Hrist and Lidia scene seems like a nice idea all of a sudden...
